In House Activity: Writing a Script - 2

So this is where I got my practice with actually writing a full on script, it was in class. Our lecturer had fun with this one. I remembered seeing her light up as we searched for some plot to make up this story based on this line.

Dusk. Sound of soft rain. Fully dresses, ________ lies on the bed, gazing up at the ceiling. After a moment ___________ gets up slowly and crosses the dresser against the opposite wall.

You can fill in the blanks alike, it was a fun activity. We had to add a name and continue writing more, just add more. That was all we needed. Then we were given a series of questions to respond to:

Who are you?

Where are you going?

What are you wearing?

Why are you here?

What do you want at this moment?

What time of day is it? Season? Year?

What is the weather like?

The entire time I was trying to think of the right response to these questions, but what is the right response. Soon our lecturer was grinning as people began to voice how crazy the activity seemed then. I only smiled.

Miss does it have to be related to the first task? One student pondered.
I was sure this was some kind of catch. What if they were all related, wouldn't you want to pattern your tasks to make rendering all together easier. I only remembered miss response being "No it doesn't have to be", but did I see a smirk on her face. Miss seemed to be enjoying this more than we were at the time.

Task 3:
Imagine a place your have seen before briefly. Now describe the taste, smell and environment of what you see.

Huh? That was my first reaction to this third task. What did this have to do with script writing? Well I imagined something and this led to the final task.

Task 4:
Complete this sentence and use either variations.
Then ___________ walks/runs/rides an Audi A4

Let's hope I got this right. I initially chose Then Luke rides an Audi A4 and changed to runs instead.

Then the trick was reveal, pool all of these tasks together and make your script. It was funny, because those little bits and pieces of each assignment did create the ingredients for a story. So it did help to have all the tasks related all along huh.

So our assignment, bring our completed script for the following class and miss would collect and correct them for our final portfolio. I knew this would be fun.
